Susan asks…

Favourite thing about your honeymoon?

I’m getting married in a week but I’m way more excited about the honeymoon!
We’re been together for almost 4 years but haven’t had sex.. so there will obviously be a lot of that.

But besides sex, what did you love about your honeymoon?!

I’m excited for sleep ins, good food, complete relaxation, pools and beaches, the indoor fire and spa’s at two of the places we’re staying.. and just spending time being married.

What was your honeymoon experience like?

spafanatic answers:

We drove to an our of town destination for our honeymoon, we left at about 10am and got there for 1pm ish , we checked into our hotel room and had all intentions on deciding where to begin our honeymoon, I think we both plopped on the bed at the same time, embraced for a moment and BOOM, lights out for both of us- we woke up at seriously 7pm, hungry! Made it to the lobby pub for a drink and some grub and went back upstairs and I had the best bath in the BIGGEST tub ive ever seen in my life, we tried to pour the champagne and make it special but we were both just so exhausted from the wedding itself lol

the next morning though ;) we had some fun and were tourists and made up for the evening before for sure, but that first night was actually one of my favorite parts of my honeymoon, it felt so good to know neither of us had to force ourselves to get up and go and we both had a lot of fun just relaxing and catching up on sleep after the chaos of the wedding

Linda asks…

what to do in cairo????? help?

things to do in cairo for girls??

like is there good spas‘? or theme parks? etc…

and what about indoor swimming pools?

thanks

spafanatic answers:

There is City Starz mall in Nasr City.. Its HUGE and has like over 250 stores.. It will take you days to go through all of it!

There is a theme park called Dream Park that is nice.. But its nothing compared to a theme park in America for example.. It only has one rollercoaster and a few other amusing rides.. But it is fun!

As for spas, I’m not sure.. But there are beauty places everywhere that you can get your nails/hair/waxing done.. Very nicely too!

Indoor pools.. You can try out any sporting club they will have lots of things to do.. There is a small fee but it is fun! I would recommend the club in Heliopolis.. They have a gym, track, pool etc and I had a lot of fun going with my friends there. :)

Mandy asks…

Looking for a place to go on honeymoon in August 2010?

Not fussy at all… but here are the requirements for around a £3,000 budget.

a) Preferably all inclusive
b) Indoor Pool & Outdoor Pool (We like the indoor pools with water jets!)
c) Somewhere reasonably hot, but not boiling!
d) Must have a spa centre
e) Somewhere on the beach preferably

The last holiday we went on, we stayed in Rhodes at the Rodos Palladium which was fantastic! It had all of the above and more.

I would prefer to travel with Thomson as they have been excellent time and time again. I have been looking at the Riu Yucatan in Mexico which ticks all the right boxes, and also the Grand President in Sorrento, but it’s a bit expensive and is only half board.

Thank you for your advice and help!

spafanatic answers:

Mexico weather could be a little unsettled, its likely to be humid and there is the risk of a hurricane between June and October.

What about the Greek Islands, you clearly enjoyed Rhodes, what about Elounda in Crete, or one of the quieter islands such as Naxos, Parga. Santorini has some beautiful accommodation also.

Thailand, again beautiful and very inexpensive whilst there, though can be a little humid and subject to some rainfall, though not to the same extent as the Caribbean.

Jenny asks…

What is this sickness?

Hey, alright, i was at work today(i work at an indoor pool) and i felt really faint and nauseous, about 2 minutes later my vision went all black and i couldn’t see for about 20seconds. i made it to a chair where i could rest. once i was able to walk again, i went and got some food and it seemed to help a bit. My vision also goes all the way black when ever i get out of the spa as well, could these things be related?

spafanatic answers:

Do you have headaches too? Im thinking migraine.

Or

is it hot where you work (indoor pools tend to be) and heat can make you feel like that.

Or

could be low blood sugar levels.

Or

could be low blood pressure

the possibilities are endless, see a doctor they’ll do tests and you’ll know for sure.
